Goodbye Gurley is the seventh episode of the first season of The Hardy Boys And The Loud Girls.

Summary[]

Lynn becomes devastated after her Todd Gurley plush is destroyed, so the others try to cheer her up.

Story[]

One day at the Hardy/Loud house, it was spring cleaning.

"I love cleaning day", Lori said, "it makes our house tidier than ever."

Inside Lynn and Luan's room, Joey was helping them out.

"Alright", Joey said, "if there's anything you want to keep, put it in this pile, if there's anything you want to donate, put it in this pile."

"Sounds easy enough", Luan said.

Luan put some of her old comedy props in the donate bin, and Lynn noticed something.

"Stop", Lynn shouted.

Lynn grabbed a plush of Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley out of the pile.

"What's wrong", Joey asked.

"I've had this plush since I was a kid", Luan said, "it means a lot to me."

"Okay", Joey said, "I'll hold onto it for you now."

Joey took the plush downstairs and set it on the coffee table.

"It'll be safe there for now", Joey said.

He then heard an explosion come from Lisa's room.

"Coming Lisa", Joey said.

As Joey left, Leni bumped into the table, knocking the plush off.

"Whoops", Leni said.

Then, Frank accidentally ran the vaccum cleaner over the plush, and stopped.

"What was that", Frank asked.

He then noticed that the plush had been ripped apart.

"Joey", Frank shouted.

Joey ran downstairs and saw the broken plush.

"What are we goanna do", Joey asked.

"I don't know", Frank said.

Then, Lynn walked over.

"Hey guys", Lynn said, "what are you talking about?"

Frank and Joey tried to hide the plush.

"Nothing", Frank and Joey said.

Lynn then noticed some stuffing on the floor.

"Is this stuffing", Lynn asked.

"No", Joey said, "it probably came from one of the couch pillows."

Lynn then noticed the plush's hand sticking out from behind Frank's back and grabbed it, horrified to see what had happened.

"What happened", Lynn asked.

"It was an accident", Frank said, "somehow, the plush fell on the floor, and I wasn't looking where I was going and ran the plush over with the vacuum cleaner."

Lynn then broke down crying.

"Lynn, it's okay", Joey said, "we can just go online and see if we can buy you another one."

"You don't understand", Lynn said, "my dad gave me that plush for my birthday a few years ago, and now it's gone."

Lynn went upstairs crying and went in her room.

"Poor Lynn", Joey said.

Luan, who was taking out the trash, walked besides them.

"Look what you two did", Luan said, "you tore her apart."

Luan laughed at her pun, but Frank and Joey glared at her.

"I'm goanna continue taking the trash out", Luan said.

Frank just threw the plush out an open window, and Zuma found it.

"What's this", Zuma asked.

Later that night, everyone was eating dinner, except for Lynn.

"Where's Lynn", Joey asked.

"She's still in our room crying", Luan said, "she could be doing it all night."

"Oh come on", Frank said, "she'll get over it."

Then, Lynn came inside crying.

"I'll never get over this", Lynn said.

Lynn grabbed a pear and went up to her room.

"That's it, I'm sleeping in the bathtub", Luan said.

The next morning, Lori went to take her shower, and when she turned on the water, Luan yelled in pain.

"What on earth are you doing", Lori asked.

"I'm not sleeping with dame cry-a-lot", Luan said.

"Get out", Lori said.

Meanwhile, Frank and Joey were talking about how to cheer Lynn up.

"There must be a way", Joey said.

"Maybe we could cheer her up with happy things", Frank said, "and I know three girls who are the definition of happiness."

Joey went to Lynn and Luan's room and knocked on the door.

"Yes", Lynn asked.

"Just thought I'd advise that you come downstairs now", Joey said, "you're invited to something awfully happy."

"I dunno", Lynn said.

"Come on", Joey said, "it'll be worth your while."

"Okay", Lynn said, "if you say so."

They went downstairs and sat down with Lori, Lucy, Lola, Lana, and Lisa.

"Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages", Frank said, "you are about to see the happiest show of your lives."

Joey gave the thumbs up.

"Now, I present to you, Luan Loud and her unbelievable dummy, Mr. Coconuts", Frank said.

Luan walked up with her ventriloquist's dummy, Mr. Coconuts.

"So how long have you and your wife been married", Luan asked.

"Oh, three years", Mr. Coconuts said.

"I see", Luan said, "and what was your favorite moment?"

"Four years ago", Mr. Coconuts said.

Everyone laughed at this.

"So Mr. Coconuts", Luan said, "what is marriage to you?"

"It's like drinking a Slurpee", Mr. Coconuts said, "one minute you're just fine, but after a few sips, it all goes into your head and begins hurting like heck."

Everyone laughed as Luan and Mr. Coconuts left.

"Let's hear it for the dummy", Frank said, "and that puppet wasn't bad either."

Everyone laughed at Frank's pun.

"Next up is Leni Loud", Frank said.

Leni sat on the couch with a scrapbook.

"Hi everyone", Leni said, "I'm going to show you some pictures of cute little puppies."

Leni then opened the book and they saw a picture of a puppy in a teacup.

"Aww", everyone said.

She then showed them a picture of a puppy wearing bunny ears in a basked of colored eggs.

"Aww", everyone said.

She then showed them a picture of a puppy in a pair of overalls on a clothes line.

"Aww", everyone said.

"And now for my personal favorite", Leni said.

Leni turned the page to a picture of a puppy in a onesie.

"Aww", everyone said.

Leni walked away and Frank stepped up.

"Wasn't that cute", Frank said, "next up, Luna Loud."

Luna walked up with her guitar.

"This one is Octopus' Garden by The Beatles", Luna said, "enjoy!"

Luna sang the song, and afterwards, everyone cheered.

"Thank you", Luna said.

Luna left and Frank stepped back up.

"Thank you Luna for the splendid performance", Frank said, "and now, for the grand finale, Joey and Lori are going to reenact the infamous "Where's My Supersuit" scene from Disney/Pixar's The Incredibles."

Joey and Lori then took their places.

"Honey", Joey said.

"What", Lori asked.

"Where's my supersuit", Joey asked.

"What", Lori asked.

"Where is my super suit", Joey asked.

"I, uh, put it away", Lori said.

"Where", Joey asked.

"Why do you need to know", Lori asked.

"I need it", Joey said.

"Uh-uh, don't you think about running off to doing no darin' do", Lori said, "we've been planning this dinner for two months!"

"The public is in danger", Joey said.

"My evening's in danger", Lori said.

"You tell me where my suit is woman", Joey said, "we are talking about the greater good!"

"Greater good", Lori said, "I am your wife, I'm the greatest good you are ever goanna get!"

Everyone applauded at this and Joey and Lori took a bow.

"Well, it's been fun", Frank said, "but we've got to make lunch now, so thanks for coming!"

Lynn then heard a knock at the door.

"I'll get it", Lynn said.

Lynn answered the door and saw Fred and Daphne.

"Hey, it's Fred and his girlfriend", Lynn said.

Joey then rushed to the door.

"Hey guys", Joey said, "what are you doing here?"

"We came to drop off this", Fred said.

Fred then showed them the Todd Gurley plush.

"My Todd Gurley plush", Lynn said, "but how?"

"Zuma found it in our backyard", Daphne said, "I fixed it up with my sewing kit."

"We wanted to give it to Zuma as a chew toy", Fred said, "but I remembered that you owned a plush just like this one and decided to come here with it."

"Thank you", Lynn said.

Fred and Daphne walked home and Lynn went upstairs.

"You and I have a lot of catching up to do plush of Todd Gurley", Lynn said.
